All private music teachers are encouraged to attend the various in-service courses, professional development workshops, seminars and master classes that are offered by the MTA throughout the year.

Illawarra Branch: Lecture/recital/master class by Danielle Salamon

Wollongong Con. of Music

Illawarra Branch extends an invitation to all members and colleagues to attend the presentation and master class by visiting UK pedagogue, Danielle Salamon on 21st February 2012.

There will be a discussion of teaching and performance issues relating to the keyboard music of J.S. Bach. (Use of modern instrument, use of pedal, dynamics, articulation, ornamentation, counterpoint, dance movement style etc) and the presentation will take the form of a Lecture/Recital where Danielle will perform the Two and Three-part Inventions of Bach and the French Suite No. 5 in G Major.
Students will also be able to perform in a master class.
