All private music teachers are encouraged to attend the various in-service courses, professional development workshops, seminars and master classes that are offered by the MTA throughout the year.

These courses are available to both members and non-members of the MTA.

9th AUSTRALASIAN PIANO PEDAGOGY CONFERENCE - "Expanding Musical Thinking"
The King's School, North Parramatta
The conference will feature international and national presenters convering subjects ranging from Healthy Pianism to Piano Improvisation to the Art of Ensemble Playing and many more topics.

Features include Concerts, Master Classes, Workshops and Presentation of Papers with the latest findings.

Presentation Papers are being requested and should be submitted by early January 2009, but no later than 1st February, 2009.
