Welcome to the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW Website

The Music Teachers' Association of NSW is the professional organisation for studio music teachers of all instruments.

Founded in 1912, it is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing professional development in the form of conferences, seminars and workshops to support private music teachers and encourage high standards of music teaching and musical education in NSW.

Membership extends to all teachers and supporters, and eligible teachers may apply also for Accreditation.  Others services include a teacher referral service (for teachers in Sydney and across the state) via this website.

Music Teachers' Association of New South Wales acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
